I haven't updated my journal in a LOOOOOONG time!  Since I've been getting on here a little more lately, I thought maybe I should update this section. . .

For the last year and a half I've been working at this awesome game studio in downtown Seattle.  I primarily just work on Battle Nations, which is a strategy-empire builder type of game.  It's really fun to work on as I get to design a lot of the little battle units, structures, decor, etc.  Best part is I get to work with totally rad people in a super chill environment. . .I'm like 2 sentences in and I'm already bored of writing (plus I think I'm gloating too much now haha)

I got surprisingly okay grades last quarter with a B+ in programming as the big shocker.  Next quarter my schedule is Background layout and design on Monday afternoons, 2d scripting Tuesday nights, Concept Art Wednesday mornings (I'm not a morning person), and 3d animation on Thursday afternoon.  I'm gonna hit up the open life drawing sessions as much as I can like I always do, so hopefully I'll see some familiar faces there!

Also, if anyone cares, I'm updating my sketchbook thread over on CA quite a bit (link on my homepage).  I generally post way more stuff over there, so check it out if you'd like.

I'll be posting a bunch of stuff in the scraps section this quarter.  I'm trying to paint 4 nights a week for a couple hours.  My goal is to get better at painting in general and learn to use different techniques within photoshop.  I'm posting these in scraps because most of them are copies from around the internet, so they're not really mine to show off.  Hopefully I'll learn a bunch and become more comfortably with the digital medium along the way.
